Bad Bunny starred in one of the most striking moments of the 2026 Grammy gala by delivering a political message from the stage, right after receiving the award for Best Urban Music Album for Debí tirar más fotos (DtMF).

"Before saying thank you to God, I want to say something: Get out ICE! We are not savages, we are not animals, we are not aliens. We are humans and we are Americans," expressed the Puerto Rican artist.

His statement was a clear protest against the recent immigration operations in the United States. His intervention sparked applause, surprise, and an immediate wave of reactions on social media, where his phrase became a global trend.

The singer's gesture was interpreted as an act of solidarity with the Latinx and migrant communities affected by deportation policies, a topic that has shaped the agenda of the U.S. government in recent months.

The 31-year-old artist also made history by becoming the first performer to win the Grammy for Album of the Year with a work entirely in Spanish, thanks to his album DtMF.

She received the award from Harry Styles and, through tears, dedicated the prize to her mother, to Puerto Rico, and "to all the people who had to leave their country to follow their dreams."

His speech, filled with emotion and social critique, reaffirmed his influence as a voice for the Latin community in global music.
