The Cuban influencer Anna Sofía Benítez Silvente, known for her activism and her ongoing denunciation of the Cuban political system, expressed her public support this Friday for the independent project El4tico, whose members were detained in Holguín during a police operation.

In a message posted on his social media, Benítez wrote: “My support goes to El4tico, you truly represent me. You are blessed by God and have a community that supports you.”

His statement comes hours after the police raided the home where the young people were producing their content, confiscating their equipment and arresting two of its members.

In a later video, the creator elaborated on her position, stating that "the Cuban government does not represent me" and dismantling the official discourse regarding the country's Constitution.

Let's analyze Article One: Cuba is a socialist state based on law and social justice, democratic... democratic? No one elected them here; the people are not heard and have no power,” he stated critically.

Benítez reported that the existence of a single party, the Communist Party of Cuba, invalidates any notion of political pluralism. “Don't talk to me about democracy when electoral competition is not fostered and authentic elections are not held,” he stated.

The influencer added that the regime “sees the people as a mass and not as individuals, which is dehumanizing and shameful.”

In her final message, Anna Sofía stated: “Neither the party nor the Cuban government represents me. What represents me is the people who are suffering in the trash, waiting for change; it is Christ, who was never passive in the face of injustice; and it is El4tico, who speaks the truth to power.”

He concluded his statement with a clear call: "Freedom for political prisoners and down with the Cuban dictatorship," a phrase that has gone viral on social media under the hashtag #TodosSomosEl4tico.
