The President of the United States, Donald Trump, avoided revealing this Friday what his plans with Melania Trump are for celebrating Valentine's Day during an informal exchange with the press aboard Air Force One.
When asked by a journalist if he had any special celebration planned with the First Lady, the president replied with a smile: “I’d better not say. Goodbye everyone, it’s a difficult question.”
The reaction sparked laughter among those present, while the president wrapped up the exchange in a relaxed tone. However, he then went on to speak about his wife and highlighted the success of the movie dedicated to Melania.
"We have a movie star on the plane. I am very proud of her, of how successful the film is. It is a great success and she does a wonderful job. She plays a very important role. I believe in the end, you will see that she will go down in history as one of the great first ladies," he stated.
Trump has praised Melania's public work on several occasions, as she has maintained a profile focused on social and cultural initiatives during her time as First Lady.
The president's comment comes in a context where the film about Melania's life and public role has generated significant media attention.
