What was supposed to be just another interview on the red carpet of Premio Lo Nuestro 2026 turned into the most viral moment of the night. The star: Aly Sánchez.

The Cuban host was interviewing the guest artists at the Kaseya Center in Miami when she encountered Yeri Mua. In an effort to break the ice, Aly began to sing and dance to “Reggaeton Champagne,” convinced that it was one of the Mexican's songs.

But the mistake was immediate.

“I don’t sing that one,” replied Yeri Mua, making it clear that the song belongs to Bellakath. In a matter of seconds, the atmosphere shifted from festive to awkward, and Aly's expression was captured on video forever.

What could have remained an awkward moment escalated when Aly Sánchez herself decided to share the clip on her social media, laughing at herself. That gesture ultimately turned the scene into a viral phenomenon.

The reactions were immediate. “I’m embarrassed and it wasn’t me”, wrote Iraisel, a comment that garnered over 26 thousand ‘likes’. “I wish I could disappear”, “You had one chance”, and “You messed up” were some of the messages that flooded the post. Others, however, defended her: “You can do no wrong”, “That happens to anyone”, and “The best part was that you uploaded it yourself”.

The detail did not go unnoticed by the most attentive fans: Yeri Mua and Bellakath have had public controversies in the past, which made the confusion even more delicate.

In a gala full of awards and stellar performances, it was this stumble that ultimately dominated the digital conversation. Because in the age of social media, a moment of confusion can turn into a global trend… and Aly Sánchez experienced it firsthand.
