The Cuban left-handed pitcher Daviel Hurtado, who is part of the New York Mets organization, will not be included in the Cuba team for the upcoming World Baseball Classic, according to a report by the specialized website Pelota Cubana on its social media.
Hurtado, 21 years old, recently suffered an injury to his oblique, which will prevent him from participating in the international tournament.
