Sandro Castro shared on social media how he enjoys a blackout in Havana, playing dominoes, drinking Bucanero beer, and grilling in the middle of the street, while neighbors remain locked up in their homes, silently enduring the eccentricities of Fidel Castro's grandson and his peculiar group of friends.

In two Instagram stories, he is seen spending time with his group at night, around a domino table, drinking beers and preparing a barbecue, but without showing any meat products.

In one of the videos, he is seen holding a Bucanero while chatting with a friend who jokingly asks him if he is "betraying" the Cristal beer that he usually promotes. Sandro replies seriously, "I never betray my ideals."

The images depict a festive atmosphere amidst the widespread blackout that left Havana without electricity this Wednesday, with thousands of families enduring the heat, darkness, and usual discomforts of power outages, unable to cook food.

On Sunday, the influencer shared another video playing dominoes in a dark street in the capital. In that recording, he joked about a supposed call from Secretary of State Marco Rubio, insinuating that he was being interrupted during the game.

"The dominoes don't get stuck, but they do heat up," he said at that moment. His words suggest that relations with the United States are at a heated point, but the Castros have no intention of leaving the game.

The scene once again reflects a provocation amidst the crisis that Cubans are experiencing.

Sandro Castro often presents himself as someone who also endures blackouts, but at the same time, he flaunts a carefree lifestyle and boasts about his position. He tries to convey that for him, even a widespread blackout can turn into a celebration.
