Fidel Castro's grandson, Sandro Castro, was spotted on a street in Havana while recording a video with a man dressed as Donald Trump, according to images sent anonymously to the CiberCuba newsroom.
In the footage, apparently recorded from a nearby building, Sandro is seen sitting in a small three-wheeled electric vehicle while conversing and gesturing with the man dressed as the U.S. president. The companion sports a blonde wig reminiscent of Trump's hairstyle and is wearing a dark suit with a white shirt.
During the scene, both appear to interact in front of several people watching from the sidewalk. At times, the impersonator raises a mobile phone as if recording or taking a selfie, while Sandro slowly drives the vehicle.
The episode takes place on a street in Vedado, Havana, where several onlookers and parked motorcycles can also be seen nearby.
It is unclear whether this is a recording for social media content or some promotional material. Sandro Castro has often been the star of viral videos online, where he tends to appear driving luxury cars, playing pranks, or participating in controversial situations.
The images were sent to CiberCuba by an anonymous source who witnessed the scene and decided to share the material.
The presence of the grandson of the historical leader of the Cuban regime in these types of situations often generates criticism among Cubans both on and off the island, especially amid the profound economic crisis the country is experiencing.
