A video shared on TikTok has excited thousands of users by showcasing the heartfelt reunion between a mother and her daughter in Cuba. The scene captures one of those moments that many families separated by emigration know all too well.
In the clip, the woman—identified as Mari on social media—surprises her little girl's school. When the girl finally sees her, she runs towards her and jumps into her arms, unable to hold back her tears.
Both remain embraced for several seconds as they cry, as if trying to recover in that moment all the time they have spent apart. In the video itself, the mother wrote: "This was my surprise arrival at my girl's school. I love you, my darling, and I miss you so much."
The scene moved many users, who responded with tearful and heart emojis. A mother commented, "My God, tears came to my eyes; I haven’t seen my daughter in four years."
The creator of the video responded with empathy: “I understand your pain, my friend, because we parents have to suffer so much being away from our children. We did it for a better future, but have faith,” a message that encapsulates the feelings shared by many Cuban families separated by distance.
