State Security once again threatens young influencers grouped under "Fuera de la Caja Cuba."

State Security has again targeted young creators of critical content in Cuba.

The group "Fuera de la Caja Cuba" reported on social media new acts of harassment directed not only against its members but also against their closest family members. 

“Urgent: State Security is on the attack again with our closest relatives”, alerted the official profile of the collective on X, accompanied by a longer message detailing the events.

According to the complaint, agents of the repressive apparatus recently appeared at the home of Karel's mother, attempting to intimidate her. Based on the testimony, this would not be an isolated incident, as days earlier a similar operation was carried out against the father of another member identified as Betty.

In the message, the youth stated that these practices aim to silence them through psychological pressure on their families. "Stop using our parents because they will not give in either," they expressed, reaffirming their commitment to continuing to denounce the reality of the country.

The text also emphasized that they have not committed any crime, referring to the regime's frequent use of ambiguous legal figures to justify the persecution of critical voices online. In Cuba, regulations such as Decree-Law 370 and Decree-Law 35 have been widely questioned by human rights organizations for facilitating digital censorship.

“They will not silence us; we will continue to show our truth and that of many others,” the post added, which concluded with slogans in favor of freedom on the island.

The case of “Fuera de la Caja Cuba” adds to other recent episodes of repression against young influencers and digital activists, such as the creators of the project “El4tico,” who have faced detentions and surveillance in recent weeks. 

Both cases reflect a growing pattern of state pressure against a new generation of Cubans who use social media to challenge power from within the country. In response, support on digital platforms continues to rise, amplifying these denunciations both inside and outside the island.
