Brayan “El Joker”, winner of the reality show El Rancho de Destino, spoke about his participation in the program in an interview with presenter Alexander Otaola and revealed several internal details of the format that had not been publicly known until now.
The Cuban influencer addressed one of the most sensitive topics: money. He explained that the creator of the reality show promised to distribute a percentage of the profits generated during the show among the participants, based on what they earned through superchat.
According to Brayan, the commitment was clear: 10% of the superchat for those receiving less than $100,000 and 20% for those exceeding that amount. “After the investment is taken out, I will give 10% to those who receive less than 100,000 and 20% to those who get more than 100,” he quoted Destino Tolk.
However, he assured that those payments have not yet materialized. “No, no, no, not yet. If it’s going to happen, I don’t know,” he stated, leaving the fulfillment of that promise up in the air.
Another point that generated controversy was the contractual situation of several contestants. Although Brayan clarified that he left without debts or commitments, he warned that other participants may have been bound to complicated agreements.
"There are many who have debts... there are many who even have two-year contracts with sponsors... who are not going to be paid during those two years because they have already been paid," he explained.
About the future of the reality show, questions are also on the table. During the conversation, Otaola expressed skepticism about a possible second season and listed several issues that he believes hinder its continuity: from conflicts regarding the rental of the venue and production to unmet promises and tensions with former members of the show.
Although the creator of the project, Destino Positivo, hinted at a new edition in February, there has been no official confirmation so far.
Meanwhile, Brayan's statements have reignited the debate on social media, where reactions have been swift. Some users question what happened with phrases like "When will the water wells be ready?" or "Who gives away so much money for free?" while others have been more critical of the influencer: "He went there to take advantage" or "What a low-class person this guy is."
There are also those who believe that, beyond the controversy, his words reveal a reality that had not been told: “He spilled all the beans by himself,” commented a user.
The debate is still ongoing.
