The alleged violent death of a seven-year-old girl in the Bahía neighborhood of Havana has sparked outrage on social media, although there is currently no detailed official information that allows for independent confirmation of several elements circulating about the case.

The report began to circulate in posts on the Facebook page 'Nio Reporting a Crime', which claimed to have received testimonies from residents in the area regarding the death of a minor identified as Gabriela.

According to that account, the girl disappeared on Saturday afternoon near her home and was found hours later, between 9:00 and 10:00 PM.

The same posts claim that there is a man identified as the alleged culprit and provide details about his identity, residence, and supposed background. However, this information has not been confirmed by official sources or verifiable public documentation, so its distribution requires special caution.

In the comments on those posts, contradictory accounts also emerge regarding essential circumstances of the case.

While some users claim that the minor went out alone to run an errand, individuals identifying themselves as family members insist that she was not alone and that part of the account shared on social media is incorrect or incomplete.

That discrepancy suggests exercising caution and avoiding premature conclusions, especially in a matter that involves a minor and a grieving family.

There are also unconfirmed reports regarding the alleged detention of the individual in question and references to Guanabacoa as a possible location for the capture, but these claims have not been independently verified either.

Pending an official communication from the authorities, the only responsible approach is to treat the case as a serious ongoing investigation, to separate facts from rumors, and to avoid amplifying unverified accounts regarding an especially sensitive incident.
