A video shared on TikTok has moved thousands of users by showing the heartbreaking moment when a young Cuban says goodbye to his grandmother via a video call, just before her passing on the Island.

The images, posted by the user @tunenecubanito, reflect the profound pain of the distance experienced by many Cuban emigrants, unable to be with their loved ones during critical moments.

In the video, the young man, a resident of Spain, tries to comfort his grandmother while holding back tears. "Grandma, I love you so much, have faith, you're going to get through this, I love you, I love you very much, grandma," he tells her during the call, in an effort to convey strength and affection in her final moments.

The scene has generated a wave of reactions on social media, where many users have expressed their solidarity and identified with the pain caused by family separation, a common reality for Cubans living abroad.

The material also highlights the harsh human consequences of forced migration, characterized by the inability to be present during crucial moments such as the illness or death of a close family member.

"Long live all the grandmothers of the world," reads the video, accompanied by heartfelt messages and symbols that reinforce the universal nature of pain and family love.
