Cuban influencer Samantha Espineira opened her heart this Monday in her Instagram stories to answer one of the most personal questions asked by her followers: how did she react when she found out she was pregnant?
With a sincerity that left no one indifferent, Samantha described that moment as one that etched itself in her soul forever.
"I remember exactly how I knew, how everything inside me stopped for a second. I felt such great happiness that I could hardly contain it in my chest, but at the same time, a deep fear began to envelop me," wrote the content creator.
Far from painting everything in rosy colors, Samantha was brutally honest about the rollercoaster of emotions she experienced at that moment.
"I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. My hands were trembling, my mind was racing at a thousand thoughts, and my heart, my heart already loved you without even knowing you. It was such a real, such a human, and such a personal mix. Because in that moment, I understood that my life would never be the same," she confessed.
But fear, far from paralyzing her, was ultimately overcome by something much more powerful.
"I felt fear, yes, fear of the unknown, of everything that was coming. But above all, I felt something stronger: an inexplicable love that made me realize that, even though I didn't have all the answers, I was already ready to love you with all that I am," she added.
In the same question-and-answer session, another follower who was also pregnant confessed that gaining weight was affecting her emotionally. Samantha did not hesitate to respond with the same warm and straightforward tone.
"Every kilo, every transformation, is part of creating life. It's your body doing something amazing," he told her.
And it went further: "I've learned to embrace it, to remind myself that this is not about 'losing myself,' but about transforming into a new version of me. A stronger, more capable, more loving one. And when you connect with that, it stops being a struggle. It starts to be a process that, although it can be scary at times, is also profoundly beautiful."
Samantha announced her pregnancy on March 8, 2026, along with her partner Norlen Serra, in an emotional video where they displayed a customized newspaper cover with the message "Baby Serra is on the way!" and an ultrasound image.
On March 23, the couple celebrated a gender reveal with neutral-toned decorations, beige balloons, and a large bear as the centerpiece, where they revealed they are expecting a girl.
Since then, Samantha has documented every detail of her pregnancy on social media, turning her motherhood into one of the most followed chapters of her public life.
