The Cuban influencer Fiu Fiu experienced an unexpected moment in the reality show El desorden de Marko by offering a public apology to the reggaeton artist Jacob Forever, following the controversy caused by his statements last year.
During the artist's visit to the show, Fiu Fiu took the opportunity to address him directly and acknowledge that he was wrong to spread rumors about his personal life, in an episode that at the time caused significant uproar on social media.
"I'm going to say something man to man: I feel that I owe you a public apology. Men do not destroy themselves, especially not for the sake of seeking attention," he expressed. He also admitted that at that moment he did not act correctly and that he let himself be carried away by a situation based on a "false accusation."
The influencer referred to the statements he made in 2025, when, following an interview with Dayamí Padrón, he commented on a supposed incident involving the artist, which contributed to the spread of rumors that he now labeled as a lie.
“You are a Cuban artist, and I believe that one does not need to cause harm to grow. We are here to support each other and uplift our country,” he added, emphasizing his intention to close that chapter and show respect both professionally and personally.
Jacob Forever's response came quickly and was brief but impactful: "You are forgiven, don't worry," said the singer, putting the controversy to rest in a gesture that was well-received by those present. "Obviously, it's something really ugly, difficult. Thanks to my audience, I have their support, and they truly know who I am and how I am, and they support me a lot. There were very few people who sent me that video. But it doesn't matter the size of the crowd or how many people send it to you; even if just one person sends it, it's unpleasant. But I understand you; I also understand that your job is difficult," he said to El Inmortal.
