The Cuban influencer La Dura raised alarms among her followers after sharing several images, one of which was taken from the hospital, where she was treated after falling ill upon returning from her recent vacation in the Bahamas.
Through her Instagram stories, the content creator shared a photo from a medical center, wearing a hospital bracelet and visibly affected, revealing that she had been suffering from a high fever for several days. "A lot of fever caused by the kidneys," she explained, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.
La Dura had been enjoying a few days in the Bahamas with her new partner, Jorge Carlos Pajón, on what seemed like a dream trip, but it ended with an unexpected health scare.
According to their account, the possible cause of the infection may be related to one of the most notable activities of the trip: swimming with piglets in the sea, a popular experience at that tourist destination. “The infection could have been caused by swimming with the piglets,” they commented, pointing out that this was what they were told.
In another image, from home, the influencer confessed how challenging the last week had been: "You have no idea how unwell I've been," although she also reassured her followers, stating that she is in the process of recovery.
The posts generated a wave of supportive messages, especially after seeing her in the hospital, a detail that concerned many of her followers.
