The mother of Cuban influencer Dina Stars broke down in emotion upon seeing the 5D ultrasound of her future grandchild for the first time, in a video posted last Tuesday on TikTok that vividly captures the distance and love that separate this Cuban family.
In the clip, the grandmother receives the ultrasound image through an aunt acting as an intermediary, since Dina Stars arrived in Madrid in May 2022 —whose real name is Dinorah Castillejo— while her mother remains in Cuba without the possibility of easily reuniting with her daughter.
When gazing at the baby's face, the woman can't contain her emotion: "Oh, this is the little face, oh, it's driving me crazy, oh how beautiful my grandchild is going to be, oh what lovely chubby cheeks!"
A moment that reflects the pain of Cuban families separated by emigration, and that could only be shared thanks to Dina traveling to Havana to reunite with her mother during a recent visit.
