The Cuban singer La Diosa returned to the operating room to undergo a procedure to make her eyes "even lighter." The artist showed her followers the entire process step by step through her social media, generating reactions among her fans.
In her videos, La Diosa explained that she returned to the doctor because she wanted to further intensify the light color of her eyes, a result that she wasn't completely satisfied with after the initial procedure. The singer shared images from the clinic, before, during, and after the procedure, with complete openness and without hiding any details. She even responded to a follower who inquired about the price: 8,000 dollars.
However, the recovery was not without discomfort. The artist herself acknowledged that "my eye gets stuck, I can't blink", describing the discomfort she experienced in the days following the surgery.
It's not the first time that La Diosa has undergone this type of procedure. In 2024, after her first surgery to change the color of her eyes, the singer stated that her self-esteem was through the roof like the color of my eyes, expressing complete satisfaction with the results achieved at that time.
This practice has become a trend among Cuban artists based in Miami, who have chosen to surgically alter the color of their irises. However, the results are not always as expected, as demonstrated by the price that Yailin La Más Viral paid in 2024, who had to undergo another procedure after regretting the outcomes.
In light of the rise of these surgeries, the American Academy of Ophthalmology warns about possible risks associated with this type of procedure, including inflammation, increased eye pressure, cataracts, and permanent vision damage.
