The Cuban actress Claudia Valdés shared an emotional video of her visit to Cuba on Instagram, where she experienced a heartfelt reunion with her grandmother, a moment that touched the hearts of thousands of followers.
The actress shared the video that captures her grandmother's reaction upon seeing her, accompanied by a heartfelt message: "I just left and I already miss you so much it hurts. I love you! I feel blessed to have you and to be able to call you 'my beloved grandmother.' I'm leaving again and once more I have to leave you… This hug is for me and for all the grandchildren who cannot be close to their grandmothers."
It is not the first time that Claudia has shared these special moments with her family in Cuba. On a previous occasion, she surprised her grandmother with an unexpected visit, eliciting an equally emotional reaction from her followers.
In April 2024, the actress also celebrated her grandmother Consuelo's 91st birthday, in a celebration that she proudly shared on her social media.
Each visit, however, brings with it the weight of distance. Claudia herself expressed this pain in a previous post: 18 years saying goodbye and it always hurts the same, a phrase that encapsulates the reality of so many Cuban families separated by emigration.
