A selfie posted on Facebook sparked excitement in the Cuban community in Miami: Pollito Tropical and La Dura appear together, smiling, inside a luxury car, marking a reconciliation that no one expected would happen so soon.

The image, shared last Sunday on the Pollito Tropical page, shows both influencers taking a photo in the front seat of a luxury vehicle. "Headlines and more," wrote the content creator.

The photo spoke for itself, and the comments did the rest.

Followers quickly interpreted the reunion as the end of almost two years of estrangement. "It's great that they've made peace," wrote one user. "Your happiness shows in your eyes," noted another. "Finally!!!" summed up a third user in two words what many were feeling.

But not everyone reacted with just joy. Several comments recalled the origin of the conflict and pointed to the figure who was at the center of the dispute: the influencer Lianet Martí, known as La Mija. "After she was laughing at her with the mija," wrote one user. "And now they are going to do to @mija_mania the same thing she did," added another follower. "How the mija's eye turned out," someone concluded with irony.

The breakup between Pollito and La Dura dates back to August 2024, when Pollito Tropical interviewed La Mija in Miami. During that conversation, La Mija indirectly accused an influencer of sending her content to the stylist Adrián Peachy to criticize her styles, an accusation that followers interpreted as aimed at La Dura, even though her name was never mentioned. Pollito remained silent in response to the accusations, which is believed to have deeply upset La Dura, who unfollowed him on social media the following day.

Tensions escalated when a video of Pollito alongside La Mija went viral from a yacht event in Miami, where he said into a microphone: You could be here, but you stopped following me, a phrase widely interpreted as a dig at La Dura. A video from July 2024 added fuel to the fire: in it, La Mija told Pollito that the person in question had described their friendship as "something temporary" in their life.

The contrast between that past distance and the current closeness did not go unnoticed. "Exactly, it wasn't that serious; you are friends," some fans said. "Well, she was the one all along," others added. There were even those who found out about the conflict for the first time through the comments themselves: "You learn about things in the comments; I didn't know they had fallen out," confessed a user.

Pollito Tropical, the stage name of Randy Álvarez, is a Cuban influencer based in Miami with over 4.1 million followers on Instagram. La Dura, whose real name is Diliamne Jouve González, has more than three million followers on the same platform and is currently experiencing an active personal moment: in February, she officially announced her relationship with Jorge Carlos Pajón and this month she was seen with him enjoying the beach.

"May they last a lifetime; we real friends also have our flaws," wrote a follower, summarizing the feelings of those who celebrated the reunion. The Cuban entertainment scene, once again, has plenty to talk about.
