A surveillance video captured the exact moment of the devastating impact that left a 22-year-old Hispanic woman dead in Miami Gardens, Florida, in the early hours of Thursday, April 23.

The images, shared by Univision 23 and other local media, show how a gray Hyundai Sonata speeds toward an articulated bus from Miami-Dade Transit that had a green arrow to turn left onto NW 7th Avenue at the intersection of NW 199 Street and NW 7th Avenue.

The security footage capturing the moment is very shocking.

The incident is part of a series of recent traffic tragedies in Miami Gardens that have shaken the community.

Among the most serious cases recorded in the area is that of a driver who was driving at 99 miles per hour under the influence of alcohol, an incident that resulted in the death of four children and one woman.

The accident statistics in the county are alarming: in just the first few months of the year, there were 93 accidents and 117 victims reported so far this year, figures that highlight the seriousness of the road safety issue in the region.
