The Cuban Blanca De Dios shared a video on TikTok this Thursday alongside her Spanish husband, Alberto, in which they recount, amidst laughter and friendly banter, how their love story began in Barcelona.

According to Blanca, she arrived in Spain in 2017, and just four days later, she had already found a job in a bar. It was there that she met her current partner.

"I arrived in this country in 2017, and four days after I arrived, I started working in a bar," he recalled. Alberto was a regular customer at the establishment, and both of them agreed that from the very first moment there was a peculiar exchange marked by jokes and a certain initial resistance from the young Cuban woman.

In the video, the couple humorously reconstructs their versions of their first meeting. While he insists that he was trying to catch her attention with comments and jokes, Blanca claims she was keeping her distance, focused on her work and adapting to a new country.

The story unfolds through anecdotes about persistence, misunderstandings, and the difficult personal situations that Blanca was facing at that time, including work-related conflicts. Ultimately, the first contact outside the bar happened when Alberto managed to give her his phone number, and she decided to text him.

Since that first message, the relationship evolved quickly. The couple recalls their first date, highlighted by details such as an invitation to dinner and a gesture that Blanca still remembers: when she returned from the bathroom, Alberto had already paid the bill.

"Since that day, he has never let me go," Blanca says jokingly, as they both continue to tease each other about how what started as a casual outing ended up becoming a stable relationship.

The video has generated numerous reactions on social media, where many users highlight the couple's authenticity and humor in sharing their story, as well as the reflection of common experiences among Cuban emigrants in Spain.
