Alejandro Sanz left the audience at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn speechless last Saturday when, during his concert, he invited his girlfriend Stephanie Cayo to the stage and surprised her with a passionate kiss that sparked an immediate ovation and became one of the most talked-about moments of the week on social media.

The moment occurred during his '¿Y ahora qué? World Tour'. The Madrid-born singer took Cayo to dance in front of thousands of spectators and, just before she left the stage, he surprised her with a kiss that said it all.

Stephanie Cayo is a Peruvian actress, singer, and model, born in Lima on April 8, 1988, who turned 38 just days before the concert in Brooklyn.

With an extensive background in Latin American television and film, they are currently part of the cast of the series 'DOC' on Netflix.

The romance between the two began to become public during Sanz's Latin American tour earlier this year, with the first documented kiss on February 21 in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

The relationship gradually became confirmed through social media, until on April 8, Sanz shared a birthday message for Cayo on Instagram along with the first official photo as a couple: You shine like no one else. May magic always be with you. Happy return to the sun, Stephanie."

The kiss in Brooklyn follows the breakup of the singer with Candela Márquez, confirmed at the end of December 2025 due to temperamental differences, and comes after his separation in 2023 from the Cuban visual artist Rachel Valdés.

After the concert, Sanz shared a message on his social media that many interpreted as a reflection of his state of mind: "There are places that force you to be a spectator and others that draw you into their story. Brooklyn is one of the latter. Here, the streets do not watch you; they pass through you, and in that strange intersection, one understands that dreams do not sleep, they simply change stage."

The tour continues with dates in Orlando on May 1, Miami on May 2, Dallas on May 6, and Houston on May 8, with Mexico on the horizon for October, while the singer's personal life once again takes up as much space as his music.
