The Cuban singer Victoria Queen published a reel on Instagram to respond with "humor and elegance" to the recent coverage of one of her posts on Instagram.

"I appreciate the report, but I want to introduce myself because I don't just explore tunnels in Vietnam.", he said directly.

The trigger was an article published in CiberCuba, about her visit to the Củ Chi tunnels, where she toured the iconic underground network of over 250 kilometers built during the Vietnam War with her son Mateo.

The artist expressed her gratitude for the mention, but she did not miss the opportunity to introduce herself on her own terms.

I am a Cuban singer who migrated to Asia seven years ago. (...) I have made a name for myself by bringing Cuban reggaeton and ballads to English, and English hits to salsa.

To that, he adds another mission that he proudly describes: "I also take pride in Cubanizing every Vietnamese person who crosses my path."

He received several supportive comments, but the one that best captured the spirit of the moment was one that mixed irony and affection in equal measure: “Well, thank the report because otherwise, I wouldn’t even know you exist.”

Social media has that magic. Many times, it’s the most honest videos or the least planned content where we reveal our most human side that ends up going viral.

Showing a glimpse of the history and culture of Vietnam became the best showcase for a Cuban artist, with seven years of experience in Asia, to present herself today to a broader audience.
