The dollar and the euro reached new all-time highs in the Cuban informal market this Wednesday.
In the last few hours, the dollar rose by two pesos to 532 CUP, and the euro climbed five pesos to 605 CUP, according to the latest data from the informal currency market.
The Freely Convertible Currency (MLC), on the other hand, experienced a movement in the opposite direction: it dropped 10 pesos, falling to 410 CUP, breaking the upward trend that had taken it to 420 CUP the previous Monday.

It is the first time in many weeks that the three reference currencies of the Cuban informal market have recorded price movements on the same day.
The dollar had previously set its record at 530 CUP on April 22, after rising four pesos in a single day, and had remained at that level for several consecutive days.
The euro, for its part, broke the psychological barrier of 600 CUP on April 19 and had not declined since then, maintaining that level for ten days.
In the case of the euro, the new value exceeds the projection that the Observatory of Currencies and Finance of Cuba (OMFi) had made for the end of April, which was 604 CUP.
The U.S. dollar, for its part, is only one peso away from the maximum value of 533 CUP that the OMFi had predicted.
