Gino Montalvo experienced one of the most emotional moments during his time on Planeta Alofoke, when a mission outside the house took him to a public park in the Dominican Republic, culminating in the unexpected arrival of Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13, who approached to give him money as a sign of support.
The live-streamed event involved the Cuban influencer known as Oyacito going out to interact with the public on the street and receiving financial support from people. What no one anticipated was that two of the most prominent Cuban artists would appear on stage to join the gesture.
The arrival of both artists was captured in the live broadcast of the Planeta Alofoke show and several videos that went viral on social media.
Dany Ome also shared his take on the moment on his profile, where he wrote: "Active Cubans are representing."
The scene took place at night in a square surrounded by trees, with cameramen and a large group of people gathered in a circle. The image of the three Cubans together on Dominican soil did not go unnoticed by their followers.
Pollito Tropical (Randy Álvarez) was also present, having exited the reality show this very week after his brief stint in the competition.
Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13 are in the Dominican Republic, fully engaged in their professional endeavors, just days after releasing "Paciente" alongside Ozuna on April 23, a collaboration that surpassed 109,000 views on YouTube within its first hours. The two singers traveled with their partners to this paradise destination for Dany Ome's birthday and also to work on new music.
The networks reacted with surprise and pride. The comments highlighted the gesture of unity among Cubans abroad, in a context where Gino is already leading the Planeta Alofoke ranking despite the public confrontation with host Santiago Matías, who told him live that "you don’t deserve the number one."
Gino entered the reality show on April 13 carrying the Cuban flag, promising to represent Cuba and Latinos. What happened this evening in that Dominican park showed that this representation goes far beyond the walls of the house.
