Pollito Tropical shook social media this Tuesday by confirming that he was expelled from Planeta Alofoke just a few days after entering the reality show, and he directly pointed to the program as the reason for his exit with a phrase that went viral: "I didn't leave, I was taken out."
The Cuban influencer had entered last week with an attitude-filled entrance and a clear message: "I came to stay" and "My sister Gino is no longer alone." His declared aim was to support his friend Gino Montalvo, who was going through one of the most tense moments of his participation in the show.
However, their time on the show was brief. In a video shared on Instagram, a key moment was revealed in which Santiago Matías (Alofoke) hinted at his intention to separate them: "There’s another little group I'm going to break up. Gino and Pollito. So get ready. So that everything can flow."
Pollito's statement—"they kicked me out"—directly points to a decision made by the production, ruling out a voluntary exit. The context adds more tension: just a day before, Alofoke had publicly questioned Gino's leadership, claiming that he "didn't deserve" the top spot in the ranking.
After his departure, Pollito gave statements on the radio program Pichando las 12 (La X 102.1 FM), where he expressed his bewilderment, albeit without directly confronting the issue: "I don't know why I left, but everything is fine. I went to support Gino."
He also defended his friend's participation: "I don't know why they want to get him out, because honestly, I think he's doing a good job."
In that same space, he made his stance clear about the type of content he is unwilling to create: "We are not going to damage our image for the sake of it, just to produce content. If you like that sort of outrageous content, then you are just a nobody."
The entry of Pollito into the program occurred during a moment of high tension for the #TeamGino within Planeta Alofoke, just days after Gino was involved in a confrontation with contestants Michael Flores and Jiménez, which sparked a wave of support from the Cuban community on social media.
Gino Montalvo entered Planeta Alofoke on April 13 carrying the Cuban flag and a promise to represent his community. Since then, he has become one of the most polarizing figures of the show, with a very active fan base and a tense relationship with the production team.
Pollito, for his part, has a long history with the Alofoke ecosystem: he participated in La Casa de Alofoke 2 in the fall of 2025, from which he left for mental health reasons and returned a week later.
The departure of Pollito —the briefest and most controversial moment of the reality show so far— leaves Gino Montalvo once again alone in the house and sparks a new battle outside of it, with both Cuban influencers announcing joint content that promises to keep the controversy surrounding Planeta Alofoke alive in the coming days.
