The Cuban actor and comedian Yubrán Luna bid farewell to his mother with an emotional message on Instagram, in which he described the loss as the end of a story of unconditional love.

"Today, I close our old story; I will no longer be able to make you laugh, and even though I am broken with pain, I feel grateful for the life we had together. I will never stop thinking about you, thank you, mommy. You were my great love; we will see each other again one day," the artist wrote alongside a photograph of her.

The comedian's words reflect the depth of a bond he always proudly displayed to his followers.

In February 2023, on the occasion of the Mother's Day, Yubrán Luna dedicated a public message in which he referred to her as "my girlfriend" and expressed: "I love you so much, my mother, I just want to keep looking into those little eyes."

That message foreshadowed the intensity of the bond that united them, and now the actor is crying publicly before his fans.

Yubrán Luna, born in Havana in 1971, is one of the most recognized Cuban comedians in exile, with a career that spans theater in Cuba, productions in Spain, and a long trajectory in the United States.

Her popularity on social media grew significantly thanks to the humor show "Ni Luna Ni Miel", which she starred in alongside Imaray Ulloa from 2014 until the end of 2021, and amassed millions of followers on Facebook and YouTube.

After that phase, the artist released new projects, including "From Crazy to Crazy," his YouTube show with Zajaris Fernández, which premiered in November 2022.

The comedian Alexis Valdés described him as "an exceptional actor and comedian" in February 2023, an acknowledgment that reflects Luna's position within the Cuban humor scene in exile.

The news of his mother's passing moved those who follow the artist, who are accustomed to seeing him in comedic settings and are now witnesses to his deepest pain.
