La Titi, partner of the Cuban reggaeton artist El Uniko, set social media ablaze this week by conducting a live stream where she publicly lashed out at the artist and exposed him in front of thousands of followers.
During the live stream, the Cuban —also known as Ely or Elisa— made a remark that quickly became the center of controversy: “I have to go twerk to feed the kids, I won’t support you anymore.”
The statement implies that she is the one financially supporting the household and that she is fed up with the situation, which represents a direct criticism of El Uniko as the family's provider.
The term "gogocear," specific to Cuban slang, refers to the act of physically stimulating or enjoying someone with erotic connotations. It is widely used in popular culture and Cuban reggaeton, which added an element of scandal to the statement.
The video was quickly amplified on TikTok by influential accounts within the Cuban community such as @Mileydis, @machetero44, and @La tigresa2010, among others.
The relationship between El Uniko and La Titi is one of the most followed in the Cuban reggaeton scene. El Uniko announced in 2019 that his partner was pregnant with their first child, and the couple has at least two children together.
The reggaeton artist's second child was born in February 2022, solidifying a family that the artist has always proudly showcased on his social media.
In July of that same year, El Uniko released the romantic song "My Warrior", dedicated specifically to Elisa as a wife, in a gesture that his fans celebrated.
However, the relationship has not been free of turbulence. In January 2023, El Uniko publicly defended his partner following a wave of attacks on social media, posting the message: "Do whatever you want; I’ve got your back."
This new episode completely reverses the roles: now it is La Titi who exposes him in public, demanding that she is the one who shoulders the financial responsibility of the household alone.
The artist, whose real name is Luis Alberto Almanza González, also sparked another controversy in December 2022 when El Uniko exploded against the Cuban audience in an episode that generated extensive debate among his followers.
So far, El Uniko has not publicly responded to his partner's statements, and their followers are closely watching to see if the reggaeton artist will break his silence on one of the most talked-about controversies of his personal life.
