Donald Trump Jr. has indefinitely postponed his wedding to Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson due to the military conflict his father, President Donald Trump, is waging against Iran, as exclusively revealed by the Daily Mail last Tuesday.

Sources close to the couple claim that holding a lavish and high-profile ceremony would be "completely out of place" given the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, where the war against Iran has already cost the United States $25 billion and the lives of at least 13 military personnel.

"They will celebrate the wedding at the right time, at the White House. But you know they are waiting for the appropriate moment due to what is happening in the world. They want to wait for that to settle down," the source told the Daily Mail.

The same source specified that, if held, the ceremony would be "very, very intimate, extremely intimate, only with family members," and only when the situation allows.

The news comes just two weeks after Anderson celebrated her spectacular enchanted garden-themed bachelorette party at the Mar-a-Lago ballroom, which was attended by Ivanka, Lara, and Tiffany Trump, as well as Kai Trump, the 18-year-old daughter of Don Jr., and Marla Maples, the president's second wife. First Lady Melania Trump was not present.

Anderson wore a strapless white dress with silver floral embroidery and shoes by designer Manolo Blahnik valued at $1,500.

Ivanka Trump posted photos from the event with the message: "This weekend we celebrated love, family, and new beginnings at Bettina's bridal shower. I am very grateful to be able to share this happy moment."

The future bride replied, "How lucky I am. I am very grateful to you all, girls," and later added on her social media, "@donaldtrumpjr, I can't wait to marry you."

Don Jr., 47 years old and the eldest son of the president, got engaged to Anderson, 39, in December 2025 with an eight-carat diamond ring. Trump himself announced the engagement at the White House Christmas party.

The wedding will not take place at Mar-a-Lago, according to the source: "I know for sure it won't be held there. The bachelorette party was there, but that's in the past."

According to a report by journalist Rob Shuter, President Trump does not see the White House as a fitting venue for his son's wedding either. "In his father's mind, the White House setting is reserved for moments that elevate him and the Trump brand. This does neither," noted a close source cited by Shuter.

The backdrop is Operation Epic Fury, the joint military offensive by the United States and Israel against Iran launched on February 28, 2026. Trump has maintained a hardline stance against Iran throughout the conflict, which has resulted in the destruction of over 90% of Iran's missile capabilities and the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

The American public opinion on the war against Iran remains divided, and the conflict continues to shape the political and social landscape in Washington.

The relationship between Don Jr. and Anderson was revealed in August 2024, when they were both photographed together in Palm Beach.

Months later, in December of that year, they were seen holding hands outside the Buccan restaurant during her birthday celebration, confirming that Don Jr. had moved on from his ex-fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle, who took on the role of ambassador of the United States to Greece in November 2025.

"She lets him take the lead. She would follow Don to the ends of the earth. That is their dynamic," said a source to People magazine about Anderson's relationship with the presidential firstborn.
