Sailly Francisco Casas, the partner of Cuban singer Divan, publicly confirmed their separation through a Q&A session in her Instagram stories, where her followers asked her why she no longer posted photos with the artist.
The young Cuban left no room for doubt in her response: "I get asked this question a lot, so I’m going to answer it. I think it’s time. Diván and I ended our romantic relationship a few months ago, but we continue to have a good relationship and communication for the sake of our kids, who are the most important thing. We will always be family."
Sailly did not specify the exact date of the breakup, but made it clear that the separation occurred months prior to this public confirmation, which came about due to the insistence of their followers regarding the absence of joint posts with the singer.
The couple was together for several years and has two young children together. Their love story became public in December 2022, when Divan celebrated his first anniversary with Sailly, quickly capturing the attention of the singer's followers and becoming one of the most followed couples in Cuban entertainment.
The next great milestone came in February 2023, when they announced that they were expecting their first child, a piece of news they shared on Valentine's Day that thrilled their followers.
In June of that same year, Iren, their firstborn, was born, and the family grew again in September 2024 with the arrival of their second child, whom Sailly referred to as "my other little prince" on social media.
In April 2024, Divan, Sailly, and their eldest son visited the Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre in Santiago de Cuba, an image that remains etched in the memory of their followers.
Divan, whose real name is Iván Sotelo Soto, is one of the most recognized urban singers from Cuba of his generation. Born in Havana on December 2, 1995, he began composing at the age of five and recorded his first song at 14. Throughout his career, he has released four studio albums and collaborated with artists such as El Chacal, Jacob Forever, El Micha, Leoni Torres, and Ky-Mani Marley.
Among his greatest hits are "Lo aprendió conmigo," "Pelearnos un ratico," and "Nadie más," all three certified as gold records by the RIAA, the organization that measures sales and streams in the music industry in the United States.
In 2025, the artist released the song "Tan Lejos," described as a heartbreak ballad within his project "Música Linda." A song that, in light of the now-confirmed separation, takes on a different meaning than what many attributed to it at the time.
So far, Divan has not publicly commented on the end of the relationship, and everything suggests that both have chosen to maintain discretion in the best interest of their two children.
