The Cuban influencer Gino Montalvo secured third place in the digital reality show Planeta Alofoke this Tuesday and took home a prize of 50,000 dollars at the grand finale of the program, held on May 26, 2026.

Excited on stage, the 27-year-old TikToker thanked those who supported him throughout the competition: "Thank you, my Cuba, my people. Blessings, really, thank you." On his Instagram account, he added: "Nothing would have been possible without you. Top 3 of Planeta Alofoke. Words are unnecessary, I am more than grateful."

The overall winner of this first half of the reality show was influencer Carlos Montesquieu (Team Saltamonte), who took home $200,000 and a Lamborghini. The second place went to Nacho Estrella (Team Nacho), with a prize of $100,000, while the fourth place was awarded to Pamela Infante, who received $25,000. In total, the program distributed $375,000 in prizes.

Gino reached the podium after winning the super chat battle against the singer Diana Laiz. The final was broadcast live on YouTube and reached more than 2.6 million viewers connected simultaneously.

The Cuban's journey in the reality show was not without obstacles. He had several confrontations with other contestants. Even just a few days before the finale, contestant Anthony Peguero "Liguita" made a xenophobic comment“go back to your country”, which sparked an outpouring of indignation on social media under the hashtag #TeamGino.

Despite the sanctions and the attacks, the Cuban community and its supporters backed him until the end, allowing him to stay in the competition and reach the podium.

Gino Montalvo, known on social media as "Oyacito" or "Oyacito King of Kings," is an influencer based in Miami, Florida. He entered Planeta Alofoke on April 13 during the Grand Premiere, carrying the Cuban flag and promising to represent his community "with love, discipline, and unity."

This is not the first time that the Cuban has demonstrated his ability in this type of format: in January 2026, he secured second place in the reality show "El Rancho de Destino," where he won $25,000 and a Honda Civic.

Santiago Matías, the creator of the program, described the conclusion of this first half as "the end of an era" and announced that a new generation of participants will soon complete the 55 days set at the start of the project.
