The Cuban influencer Milenita became the unwitting star of one of the most talked-about moments on social media this Monday, after staff at the Kia Center in Orlando denied her entry to a concert for arriving with personal production equipment that included portable lights and a camera.
The incident occurred during the concert of Romeo Santos and Prince Royce at the venue in Orlando, scheduled for April 29. The staff informed Milenita that she had to go back to the car to store the equipment before she could enter, which triggered her reaction captured on video.
"Look, now we’re entering and now lights can’t come in either. What kind of stupidity is this?" Milenita can be heard saying in the recording she made during the incident.
Her husband, known as "Puti," tried to calm her with a straightforward answer: "My love, it's not a foolishness; they're rules."
The video reached the hands of the broadcaster Enrique Santos, who dedicated his popular humorous segment “Come Piña del Día” to the Cuban influencer, dubbing her “The Queen of the Ring Light / Director of Photography of the Kia Center.”
"The highlight of the day today goes to this influencer who arrived at a concert at the Kia Center in Orlando with a personal production studio. As if she were going to do a photoshoot or record a full podcast complete with lights and camera," Santos noted in his Instagram post.
The announcer did not limit himself to mockery and offered practical advice: "If you're an influencer and you're going to create content, then you need to ask for a press pass. Don't buy tickets."
Santos also joked that Milenita's husband "didn't look happy" and speculated that the couple had to walk several blocks back to the car to store the equipment. He concluded his comment with a phrase that summed up the episode: "The show was on the stage, not in your feed."
Far from being bothered by the public exposure, Milenita responded with humor in the comments of Santos's video: "I'll form it anywhere."
The Kia Center, like most large concert venues, enforces strict policies regarding the entry of professional production equipment — cameras, lights, and tripods — which are prohibited for the general public and require press accreditation.
Milenita, whose real name is Milena Sánchez Rodríguez, is one of the most followed Cuban influencers in the diaspora. Graduated in Medicine in Cuba, she is currently studying nursing in the United States while developing her career as a digital content creator, known for her humor and her videos in exile.
