Doctor Celeste Nardanone published a reel on Instagram comparing photos of Messi during his time at FC Barcelona with current images from Inter Miami, attributing to him a nose job, chin filler with hyaluronic acid, Botox, dental veneers, dental prosthetics, cheek fillers, otoplasty, and blepharoplasty.
The video surpassed 568,000 views and garnered over 31,500 likes, prompting Antonela to personally engage in the comments.
“Not even one! No surgery was ever done. Hahaha, and the teeth are called Invisalign,” wrote the verified account @antonelaroccuzzo, in a message that garnered over 8,200 likes and 273 replies, becoming the most notable comment on the reel.
The clarification regarding Invisalign is significant: this invisible orthodontic system uses clear, removable aligners, without brackets or wires, and is a non-invasive treatment that has nothing to do with the veneers or prosthetics that the doctor attributed to the player.
Antonela's intervention was particularly remarkable given her usual profile of discretion on social media, where she has over 40 million followers on Instagram.
