Claudia Artiles shared one of those everyday moments from her family that her followers often discuss, although this time she knew from the very beginning that not everyone would agree.
The influencer posted a mini vlog on TikTok where she showcased the surprise that she and Ultrack prepared for Libertad, the youngest daughter of the Cuban YouTuber, who at just three years old already has her own tablet.
Before even showcasing the purchase, Claudia anticipated the controversy with a warning for her followers: “I know that many perfect moms who are against the technology of phones and tablets are not going to agree with this.”
According to her explanation, the decision was driven by a very practical reason. Victoria, Ultrack's eldest daughter, already had a tablet, and the arguments between the two girls over wanting to use the same device had become a common occurrence.
“There is always conflict between the two of them because the little one wants it and the big one doesn’t want to lend it”, Claudia shared amid laughter as she recounted the reason that led them to buy Libertad her own tablet.
The video shows the family during their outing to acquire the device, as well as the moment they stop by a store to put on a case and a protective film. Claudia explained that this was almost a necessity when it comes to young children. "They keep dropping them," she joked.
As is often the case in her vlogs, the outing ended up including other spontaneous moments. The family made a stop to buy mangoes from a Cuban woman working at a stall, and Claudia took the opportunity to film the scene and share it with her followers.
The post came just a day after the influencer surprised Victoria with a personalized cake for her seventh birthday, leading many followers to closely follow the celebrations and details that Claudia shares with Ultrack's daughters.
Comments quickly surfaced. While many users defended the couple's decision and pointed out that each family raises their children as they see fit, others expressed concern about the use of electronic devices at such young ages.
