The Cuban YouTuber Ultrack and his partner, content creator Claudia Artiles, responded humorously to rumors on social media claiming that she was facing a deportation order and that he had abandoned his political activism for that reason.
In a video posted on Instagram, both react with laughter to the audio of a voice saying: "The woman was supposed to show up for a migration appointment and didn't. It seems he already knew that she was going to receive the deportation letter."
The same voice claims that Ultrack "stopped talking about politics" because he knew they were going to deport Claudia and "he would have to be traveling" to Cuba, and concludes: "You don't see how the patriots here are, that when the time comes, they change their tune."
Claudia Artiles and Ultrack directly dismissed the rumors with laughter, as demonstrated in the video, and additionally stated in the text: "I didn't know about that letter, I just found out now."
The influencer El Divo de Placetas also took the opportunity to deny other rumors coming from the same person: "That inflated old man makes things up, saying I went to eat at a restaurant in New Jersey and that I didn't have money to pay. The worst part is that I haven't been to New Jersey in about a year. Now tomorrow he’ll say that Claudia got arrested."
Claudia responded to the comment: "They've been at it for days."
The rumors have real antecedents: in November 2025, Claudia publicly revealed that she had received a deportation notice after arriving late to an immigration court hearing, and that she was wearing an electronic ankle monitor under immigration supervision.
Ultrack clarified then that a immigration officer took the document upon learning that Claudia had just given birth, and granted her a parole for one year. She also obtained Social Security, state identification, and work permission, and was awaiting the approval of her residency under the Cuban Adjustment Act.
The couple went through difficult months: in January 2026, they lost the baby they were expecting and Claudia was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome. On April 28, she underwent body contouring plastic surgery in Miami, which explains the comments from some followers about her figure in the video.
The irony of the rumor about the supposed abandonment of Ultrack's activism did not go unnoticed: the Cuban regime included him on its official list of individuals linked to terrorism through Resolution 13/2025, published in the Official Gazette on July 9, 2025, alongside another 61 individuals and 20 entities.
A commentator with 95 "likes" summed up what many followers were thinking: "But one thing is true: he has never spoken about politics again."
