The Cuban singer Osmani García took advantage of the eve of Father's Day to share a snippet of his latest single, "Dad, the Hero of My Stories", an emotional ballad in tribute to his father, Luis Ismael García, and all fathers around the world.

The song begins with a childhood image that defines the entire lyric: "I got used to hearing your stories over and over again. Tales of adventures of invincible warriors, each one stronger than Hercules. And that's how I saw you, Dad."
From that childhood memory, the lyrics rise to an unreserved declaration of filial admiration: “In no galaxy is there a better father. You taught me to be a good human being in its worth. Always help the weakest to feel less pain and always celebrate the triumphs of my heart.”
One of the most powerful verses of the song addresses the passage of time with a blend of nostalgia and urgency: "Now that I see your steps are slower, now that your hair has turned white, how I wish I could challenge time to a duel, to be a child again and you the hero of my stories."
The song also includes a moment of regret for the silence: "Sorry if I ever just fell silent, didn’t say that I love you, that I am part of you, that I have in front of me the most perfect man."
The single was composed by Osmani García González along with William Paz and Rolando Aguilar Conde, and produced by DJ Jerry.
