Iraisel Pintueles confirmed her divorce from volleyball player Leo Leyva in the most unexpected way: through an Instagram story, responding with a succinct "Yes" —accompanied by heart and star emojis— to a direct question from a follower: "Are you divorced?".

What stands out is not just the news itself, but the tone with which it was delivered. No lengthy statements, no heartfelt posts. Iraisel chose a “Let’s talk” approach with her followers to drop the confirmation as casually as one would announce the daily menu, complete with festive emojis that left more than one person stunned.

The confirmation comes just a little over a year after the couple held an intimate wedding on May 23, 2025 in Cuba. That wedding was planned in just a week, featuring decorations of floral arches with white roses, lilies, and daisies, and the presence of Daniela — daughter of Iraisel and the late reggaeton artist El Dany — throwing confetti.

In sharing the official wedding photos, Iraisel had written some words that today resonate like a different life: “There are loves that heal, loves that come to remind us that the sun always rises again, that there is more than one opportunity to smile… and that happiness is not a destination, but a daily choice. Until God wills it, we will walk together. Officially, Mrs. Leyva.”

The story between Iraisel and Leo Leyva has more chapters than many remember. In July 2023, the couple had already announced their first separation with the message "we will continue to love each other from another place," later reconciling, getting married, and starting a new life together.

After the wedding, Iraisel and Daniela traveled to South Korea, where Leo Leyva plays professionally with the Ansan OKman team. The volleyball player, known as "King Leo," holds the record for 59 points scored in a single match of the Korean league and was named MVP of the final of that competition. Daniela even went on to study at a private school in that country.

However, in January 2026, Iraisel returned to Cuba from South Korea, which had already sparked speculation about the true state of the relationship. Since then, the influencer has resumed her life on the Island: in April 2026, she showcased her daughter Daniela's future home in Cuba on social media, and in June, she sparked controversy by promoting a private fuel sales company, receiving criticism from some followers.

Iraisel has not provided further details about the reasons for the separation or her future plans. For now, the only official statement is that "Yes" with emojis, which, paradoxically, sounds more definitive than any announcement.

The couple, who had already shown that endings are not always definitive with their reconciliation in 2024, leaves open the question that many fans are already asking: Will there be a third chapter?
