The Cuban influencer Samantha Espineira touched her followers on Wednesday by sharing on Instagram a reel that quickly went viral, in which she recounted how her partner, Norlen Serra, gave a $100 tip to a young delivery person who arrived on a bicycle to deliver a food order to their home.
In the text that accompanied the video, Samantha described the scene in detail: "Tonight, a young man rode his bike to our house to deliver food. While many were already resting, he continued to work, striving to earn a living with dignity. My husband decided to give him a $100 tip. And while for some it may seem like just a sum of money, what I truly found valuable was the act of generosity. Because we never know the battles someone is fighting, nor how much an unexpected gesture of kindness can mean."
The post, accompanied by the caption "Watch it until the end," garnered over 14,000 likes and 414 comments in just a few hours, reflecting the impact the message had within its community of followers.
Samantha took the moment to reflect on the power of small acts of kindness: “Sometimes we think that changing the world requires big things, when in reality it is enough to touch the heart of just one person. An act of love can restore hope, bring a smile on a difficult day, or remind someone that their efforts are indeed seen and appreciated.”
Norlen Serra, known on social media as @laformula_sportbet, is a Cuban originally from Pedro Tancuro, Matanzas, and resides in Miami with Samantha. The influencer concluded her post with a heartfelt declaration of love for him: "I love you @laformula_sportbet."
The gesture occurs at a particularly emotional moment for the couple. Samantha and Norlen are expecting their first daughter, whom they will name Alana. Her pregnancy was announced on March 8, 2026, and her gender was revealed at a gender reveal celebration held in Miami.
In June, Samantha showcased the nursery already decorated for her baby, indicating that Alana's birth was near. The content creator has actively documented every stage of her pregnancy on social media, from ultrasounds to sessions showcasing her baby bump.
Samantha Espineira began her career as a content creator in Cuba in 2019 and moved to Miami in 2022, where she established her digital presence and surpassed one million followers on Instagram in March 2025.
The incident involving the delivery driver and Norlen's tip became much more than just an everyday anecdote: for thousands of followers, it served as a reminder that empathy and acknowledgment of humble work can transform someone's day.
