A month after confirming her divorce from Leo Leyva, Iraisel Pintueles set social media ablaze again this Tuesday with an Instagram story that her followers quickly interpreted as a very personal message about her experiences.
The Cuban influencer shared a zodiac-themed reel on her account @iraisel_55 about Virgo —her sign— accompanied by two phrases that say everything without saying anything: "It's not that I don't care. It's just that when I'm truly hurt, something inside me shuts down and there's no turning back."
And just in case there was any doubt, he added at the bottom: "I don't want to be this way, but this is how I was born."
The timing is hard to ignore. Last month, Iraisel confirmed the end of her marriage to Leonardo Leyva Martínez—known as Leo Leyva—in the simplest way possible: a follower asked her, "Are you divorced?" and she replied, "Yes," with emojis. No drama, no names, no explanations.
The couple had married on May 23, 2025 in an intimate ceremony in Cuba, so their marriage had just barely surpassed one year.
Their journey was not a straightforward one either. They made their relationship public in August 2022, but in July 2023, they announced an initial breakup with the message "we will continue to love each other from a different place." They reconciled and resumed their relationship in 2024 — that year Leo Leyva gifted a car to Iraisel, a gesture that did not go unnoticed — and finally walked down the aisle in 2025.
Now, with the story of the wounded Virgo, Iraisel seems to be closing that chapter in her own way: without providing explanations, but making it very clear that something has faded away.
The zodiac detail is not insignificant. Virgos are popularly known for being loyal and intense, but they also have a point of no return when they feel hurt. Iraisel, who celebrates her birthday in August, chose her own month to convey that message.
The curious thing is that just on Monday, media outlets were covering signs that Iraisel wanted to remarry, after she posted a reel from the Cathedral of Santa Catalina in Cartagena, knocking on a door associated with the legend that whoever knocks on it “will marry before the end of the year.”
So in less than 24 hours, Iraisel went from knocking on doors for love to reminding the world —and perhaps herself— that there are wounds from which one does not return.
