Taty Guiribitey, known on social media as “Mami Lover,” surprised followers of Alexander Otaola's show by revealing a family drama she had kept silent about: her granddaughter Alma suffered a severe accident in January of this year due to the negligence of the person who was caring for her, and she had to undergo two surgeries.

The Cuban-American entrepreneur and influencer made the revelation during a video call from Madrid, where she participated alongside her daughter Camila—connected from London—to clarify a controversy involving the Cuban YouTuber Adrián Peachy.

"Nobody knows that and it has never happened. In January of this year, my granddaughter had an accident due to the negligence of the person who was taking care of her," Taty began, visibly emotional.

What followed was even more shocking: “My granddaughter had two surgeries, two surgeries under general anesthesia. My granddaughter was in serious condition,” she recounted with her voice filled with emotion.

Alma, the second daughter of Camila Guiribitey, born in 2024, was admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit during the episode that the family chose not to disclose.

Despite the seriousness of the matter, the Guiribitey chose not to take legal action against the person responsible.

"I did not file a lawsuit against that person. I did not do it because I leave it to God. May God be the one to decide. I am not a judge, I am not God," Taty explained, making it clear that she holds no grudges.

The influencer also clarified that there was no ill intent involved: "It wasn't intentional; it was negligence."

Taty and Camila broke their silence about this episode as part of a broader conversation about how the family prefers to resolve conflicts: through dialogue, without courts, and, according to Taty, leaving the final judgment in God's hands.
