Lina Luaces, the Cuban beauty queen and daughter of Lili Estefan, turned 24 in grand style: a fuchsia dress with openings that left little to the imagination, a Caribbean paradise in the background, and a group of international queens as honored guests. The young woman shared the celebration on her Instagram with a carousel of photos that quickly filled with congratulatory messages.
"24 at Casa de Campo, surrounded by so much love. I am the luckiest girl in the world. Happy and grateful," Lina wrote from the exclusive residential complex of La Romana in the Dominican Republic, one of the favorite destinations for Latin celebrities.
For the occasion, the model chose a fuchsia halter dress with side cutouts at the hips—the cut-out trend that is dominating this season—and golden embellishments that accentuated her tanned figure. Sensuality at its peak, unapologetically.
The most charming detail of the night: all her guests arrived in white, creating the perfect contrast with the honoree. And they were not just any guests: Miss Dominican Republic Jennifer Ventura, Miss Iraq Hanin Al Qoreishy, Miss Spain Andrea Valero, Miss Haiti Melissa Queenie Sapini, and Miss Costa Rica Mahyla Roth, all of whom are Lina's companions in Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand, gathered to celebrate their Cuban friend.
The cake was no exception: two tiers with pink frosting, a childhood photo of Lina, a mini crown in homage to her reign, and a large candle.
But the celebration didn't end there. Lina also enjoyed an elegant dinner by the seaside, with a table adorned with fuchsia napkins and arrangements of roses and orchids.
Lili Estefan, who was present throughout the celebration, couldn't contain her emotions. "If there is anything special from Miss Universe 2025, it has been witnessing the friendship that was forged in Thailand among all of you and that you have managed to maintain despite the distance," wrote "La Flaca" on her social media, expressing her gratitude to each of the queens who traveled to the Dominican Republic to support her daughter.
Lina was crowned Miss Universe Cuba 2025 on July 8, 2025, in Hialeah, Florida, representing Santiago de Cuba, and in November of that year, she reached the Top 12 of the international pageant held in Thailand. The official Cuban press attempted to overshadow her coronation by questioning her "Cuban-ness," but Lina pressed on — and she truly did — with the support of her Estefan family and the entire Cuban community in exile.
At 24, Lina Luaces has a crown, queen friends, and a fuchsia dress that speaks for itself. Not bad at all.
