Some comments that Valentina Ferrer left last February on her TikTok account have been circulating strongly on social media again, and this time with a completely different interpretation than what it had at the time...
Everything started due to the controversy sparked by the Mexican model and influencer Melanie Pavola, who claimed that J Balvin was unfaithful to his partner during her pregnancy with their son, Río, born in June 2021. According to Pavola's account, the Colombian singer invited her to New York and, after an intimate encounter, confessed to her: “I have Valentina pregnant.” She said she gathered her things and left, and then contacted Ferrer directly to tell her what happened and to apologize.
Against that revelation as a backdrop, internet users recalled a response that the Argentine model had given on February 18, 2025, to a follower who asked her on TikTok: "How did you forgive him for treating you badly during the pregnancy?"
The response from Ferrer was loaded with meaning: “There’s a process, but nothing is perfect... and if one forgives... forgiving means you can't bring up past grievances... and I always knew it wasn’t intentional, it was just that he didn’t know how to handle it, but well... to build a family...”.
In a second comment that same day, he added: “I didn’t finish to create a family, sometimes… you have to accept, forgive things if you can manage to forgive them…”.
Now, in light of Pavola's accusations, thousands of users are rereading them as a possible implicit confirmation that something happened during that pregnancy.
The controversy contrasts with the image of a solid couple that they have publicly projected. In January 2025, Valentina cried with emotion in Paris when J Balvin performed live for the first time "Río," the song dedicated to his family, and came down from the stage to hug him.
Until this Thursday, neither J Balvin nor Valentina Ferrer has issued any public statements regarding Pavola's accusations, while social media remains divided between those defending the Mexican influencer and those criticizing her for revealing events that, according to her own account, occurred more than five years ago.
"If he doesn't care, I care even less. I wish them all the best, blessings," was the message with which Pavola closed her last reel on the matter, leaving the story open and without an official response from either party.
