The Cuban influencer and model Samantha Hernández sparked a flurry of praise this Thursday by revealing on Instagram her participation as a model in the music video "La Foto", the song by Cuban artist El Shadow in collaboration with Nicky Jam, whose official release coincided with the announcement.
In her post, the young woman based in Miami shared a series of photographs from the professional shoot and confessed that she had kept the secret for months: "We recorded this project a few months ago and I was so eager to tell you... another day doing what I LOVE TO DO and feeling proud of it."
The images show Samantha in an olive green outfit that leaves little to the imagination, with wavy reddish hair and her necklace featuring the name "Sammy," posing for the cameras with a captivating sensuality.
The post accumulated dozens of comments within a few hours, with followers showering compliments: "Look how beautiful you are, mulata," "The Marilyn Monroe of Cuba," "Cachita in all her glory," and "Samy, you nailed it," were some of the messages that flooded the post.
Other fans joined in with phrases like "You're just too beautiful," "Breaking it down, mommy," and "Let's go, get the motors ready."
Samantha took the opportunity to express her pride in her roots: "Cuba in the house, ladies! Proud of myself and all my fellow countrymen who are breaking barriers."
The music video for "La Foto" marks a milestone for El Shadow, whose real name is Raudel Gómez Hernández, a 26-year-old singer from Camagüey.
The story behind the song is as captivating as the music video itself: in February of this year, when El Shadow had only 12,000 followers on Instagram, he uploaded a video singing the song and asked his community to tag Nicky Jam. The Puerto Rican reggaeton artist responded positively in the comments, and the collaboration became a reality.
The filming was divided between two locations: El Shadow shot his scenes in Playa Santa Lucía in Camagüey, while Nicky Jam recorded his in Miami.
