Exchange Rate Evolution
The MLC shows an increase of 3.5 CUP, equivalent to 0.8%. These longer-term variations should be interpreted with caution, as the comparison over 30 days may reflect methodological adjustments to the index rather than just market movements.
The dollar is at its lowest point in the last 30 days this Tuesday, during which it reached a high of 675 CUP and a low of 663.
The euro has fluctuated between 755 and 790 CUP, while the MLC has ranged between 413 and 496 CUP.
In the case of the MLC, the current figure remains indicative due to the limited number of operations detected during this time period.
The official exchange rate for the population, corresponding to Segment III of the Central Bank of Cuba, is currently set at 631 CUP per dollar and 731 CUP per euro this Tuesday.
Over the last 30 days, the official dollar rose from 592 to 631 CUP, while the euro increased from 676 to 731 CUP. The MLC does not have an official rate.
