The Cuban influencer Bryan Batista, known on social media as "El Vaquero," revealed on Facebook the real reason for his recent hospitalization: a throat infection caused by inhaling sawdust mixed with horse manure while cleaning the stables of his ranch without any kind of protection.
A few days ago, Bryan had appeared on Instagram from the emergency room of a hospital in Florida with the brief caption "Mom is always there," without providing any explanations, which raised concerns among his followers. At that time, many attributed the issue to a bull-related injury that the influencer had suffered days before.
Bryan himself took it upon himself to deny that version: "Do you remember a few days ago I went to the hospital for a supposed lump in my neck, which we blamed on the bull? Well, it wasn’t a lump from a hit. The bull had nothing to do with it; I was actually having an infection in my throat. My fever and blood pressure shot up, my hands were going numb, and my ears were blocked, something I had never experienced before."
The influencer detailed how he got to that point: "It seems that cleaning stables, without protecting myself, without masks, without gloves, etc., the sawdust along with horse manure, slowly inhaling it... led to the infection."
Far from dramatizing, Bryan took the episode with the philosophy that characterizes his content: "One more thing to learn from life on the ranch. Greetings and blessings VAQUERO."
The post sparked a flood of comments. Some followers reminded him that they had already noticed his lack of precautions: “I was always amazed when I started watching your videos that you didn’t take any precautions while doing your daily work on the farm,” wrote one user. Others sent more cheeky messages, such as one who pointed out, “the bull warned you, thank him, he prevented something worse,” or the playful “poor bull” that circulated among the comments.
