The Mexican authorities are searching for Juan Francisco Marimón Morejón, a 57-year-old Cuban who has been missing for more than two weeks in Chetumal, Quintana Roo, with no information about his whereabouts available so far.

Marimón Morejón was last seen on August 19, according to the Attorney General's Office of Quintana Roo (FGE). The formal report of his disappearance was filed on September 3, nearly 15 days later.

The FGE activated alert 88/FDS/2026 and issued a search bulletin, while the State Commission for the Search of Persons called on citizens for assistance in locating him.

The Cuban is of slender build, with light brown skin, straight, short, gray hair, and large light brown eyes. He is approximately 1.65 meters tall and weighs 56 kilograms.

The official report does not record any distinguishing features, so the clothing he was wearing when he was last seen could be particularly useful for identifying him: a red t-shirt, denim pants, and a red cap.

"He has been missing since August 19, 2026, with no information about his whereabouts available at this time," stated the Prosecutor's Office.

Until this Sunday, no clues about his location or details regarding the circumstances of his disappearance had been disclosed.

Anyone with information that could help locate Juan Francisco Marimón Morejón can contact the Attorney General's Office of the State of Quintana Roo at the phone number (983) 835-0050, extension 1132, or write to the email address personas.nolocalizadas@fgeqroo.gob.mx.
