A family from Villa Clara is seeking assistance to recover a trumpet that a child forgot after getting off a bus following his departure from the Vocational School of Arts (EVA), an instrument he needs to continue his music studies.

The announcement was published this Monday by Dairol López in the Facebook group Villa Clara y su Música, where he explained that his nephew carelessly left a Kong trumpet on the bus and that, by the time they noticed, someone had already taken it.

"A person who found it: we sincerely ask you to please show a little consideration and think about the child behind that instrument," she wrote.

The family insisted that the trumpet goes far beyond its material value for the child.

"For some, it may just be a trumpet, but for him it represents his studies, his effort, his hours of practice, his dreams, and his enthusiasm for learning music," said López.

According to the account, the family is not seeking confrontations nor intending to identify the person who took the instrument, but solely aims to have it returned.

"We just want my nephew to be able to have his instrument back and continue doing what he loves: making music," she added.

Meanwhile, the family from Villa Clara continues to urge everyone to share the post in the hope that the trumpet will be returned to the child.

God bless those who have the heart to return it, concluded López.

The post generated numerous messages of solidarity, and users began sharing it in the hope that it would reach whoever has the trumpet.

How important it is to return this child's dreams, expressed one person, while another asked to "support that child so he can achieve his dream."

Other internet users recalled the sacrifice that obtaining a musical instrument can represent for a family nowadays, and expressed hope that it will be recovered.

There were also those who suggested providing more details about the trumpet and specifying the area where the loss occurred to facilitate the search.

A user connected to the music world expressed optimism and commented, "That shows up, there are few of us musicians."

But one of the most touching comments came from Yoan Ramírez, a resident of Miami, who offered to buy a trumpet for the boy and send it to a family member or friend to be delivered to Cuba.

In addition to the heartfelt plea for help, highlighting the significance of young people pursuing their dreams, the case once again underscores the importance of access to an instrument for children and adolescents studying music.

At the end of August, a community fundraiser allowed a drum set to be gifted to the young Cuban Jonathan Pellegrin Fonseca, after his talent for playing various instruments went viral on social media.
