The Cuban reggaeton artist El Carli has just achieved one of his biggest dreams: buying his first house in the United States. The artist, whose real name is Carlos Quiñones and who was born in Arroyo Naranjo, Havana, announced it with an emotional post on Instagram that quickly filled with hearts and comments from his fans.
The images show him signing the closing documents at the offices of a real estate title company in Miami, flanked by two real estate agents. Next, the classic photo: El Carli standing in front of his new property—a one-story house with white walls, a flat roof, and stamped concrete—exuding the calm demeanor of someone who knows he earned it.
But perhaps the most moving part was the message that accompanied the photos. "In life, those who persevere, those who strive, those who persist, those who know it's not easy but keep pushing forward are the ones who succeed," the artist wrote, adding: "I am a warrior of a thousand battles with faith, which is why God always blesses me. Today, I humbly bought the first little house of many to come, and without realizing it, I became the man my mother wanted."
In the same images, El Carli is seen holding two music certification discs — one platinum and one gold — as if to remind us that the house is a direct result of his work in music.
This acquisition is the final chapter of a journey of perseverance that the artist has been sharing on social media with each achievement. In December 2023, El Carli treated himself to a yellow Lamborghini Urus for his birthday, and in November 2024 showcased a luxury chain valued at 109,000 dollars — fifty thousand for the necklace and 59,000 for the pendant shaped like a baby bottle — alongside figures such as Aroldis Chapman, Yuli Gurriel, and Lenier Mesa.
The road has not been all red carpet. In February 2023, shots were fired at his car in Miami, and in July 2025, he ended up hospitalized in the city, although he later clarified that it had been an accident while playing basketball and not an assault.
All of that makes this moment feel more significant. The house is not just a property: it is proof that the boy from Arroyo Naranjo who arrived in Miami with dreams in hand is turning them, one by one, into reality.
El Carli has already indicated that this is "the first of many to come." His followers, at least, have no doubt that it will be so.
