Leonardo «El Zambo» Perdomo needed just 14 seconds to finish off Bear Hill this Saturday in the main event of BKFC 93 Hollywood, held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, extending his undefeated record to 12-0 in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
The Cuban native from Cienfuegos ended the fight with his trademark combination: a left hook followed by an overhand right that sent Bear Hill to the canvas with no chance of recovery. Referee Chris Young counted to ten while the opponent lay on the ground, unable to continue.
"That's how simple it is. Perdomo's left hook. And now Chris Young is getting the count. He can't, he won't beat that ten count. Just that simple. Perdomo is now 12-0," the event commentator described at the moment of the knockout.
The official BKFC account on Instagram stated that Perdomo sent Hill to the canvas with his trademark left hook, adding another victory to bring his record to 12-0, all by knockout or TKO.
Hill entered the fight with a record of three wins and no losses in BKFC, with all his victories coming by way of finish. After the knockout, his record now stands at 3-1.
In the press conference following the fight, Perdomo made it clear that he doesn't intend to slow down. "I'm ready, I don't care when, I'm going to fight every month. Who's next? I'm ready," declared the fighter from Cienfuegos.
BKFC officially announced the fight between Perdomo and Andrei Arlovski for the organization's heavyweight championship as the next step for the Cuban.
Arlovski, former UFC champion, won the title on February 7, 2026, by defeating Ben Rothwell by TKO in the third round during BKFC KnuckleMania 6 in Philadelphia.
In addition to the title, Perdomo expressed interest in the "World's Baddest Man" tournament, a competition featuring 32 open-weight fighters organized by BKFC and FOX Nation, with a prize of up to 20 million dollars and a final scheduled for 2027.
Perdomo's rise has been unstoppable
In December 2025, “El Zambo” Perdomo became the first heavyweight in BKFC history to achieve ten victories.
In March 2026, he knocked out Rashad Coulter in 1:07 during BKFC 87, where he also interrupted with political messages at the weigh-in; and last August, he knocked down his opponent in just 44 seconds.
Outside the ring, the athlete from Cienfuegos maintains an active political voice. The day before the fight, he posted a message on social media directed to President Donald Trump.
"Hey, Mr. President Donald Trump, help my people.” In the same video, he criticized those who talk about Cuba only when it’s trending: “Influencers from Miami and around the world, talking about Cuba isn’t just a trend. It’s about talking about Cuba consistently until there is change.”
With the BKFC heavyweight title on the horizon, the question lingering in the bare-knuckle boxing community is whether anyone can stop Zambo before he reaches the belt.
