The Cuban boxer Leonardo Perdomo, known as El Zambo de Cienfuegos, remains unstoppable and has made history once again in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) by achieving an impressive record of 10 victories without a loss, all by knockout.
The Cienfuegos native, now based in Miami, confirmed on Friday why he is considered the man to beat in the heavyweight division of professional boxing.
During the BKFC 86 event held at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Perdomo faced the undefeated Corey “What U Talkin’ About” Willis, who tried to slow down the pace of the fight with holds and pushes.
However, El Zambo imposed his power and dominated from start to finish, knocking down Willis four times before the referee stopped the fight at 1:33 of the third round.
With this victory, Perdomo becomes the first fighter in BKFC history to achieve 10 wins in the heavyweight division, solidifying his position as the number one contender and drawing closer to the coveted title fight against current champion Ben Rothwell.
El Zambo from Cienfuegos not only maintains his perfect streak, but is also continuing to build a legacy that positions him as the new face of the global bareknuckle scene.
